Rajaji National Park

Rajaji National Park, nestled in the Shivalik range of Uttarakhand, is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Spanning across three districts – Haridwar, Dehradun, and Pauri Garhwal – this park is named after C. Rajagopalachari, a prominent Indian freedom fighter.

Rajaji National Park is a diverse ecosystem with a rich variety of flora and fauna, including Asian elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, and deer species. The park also boasts over 300 avian species, including the great hornbill, making it an ideal destination for birdwatchers. Jhilmil Jheel

Jhilmil, a Terai marshland near Rajaji National Park, is a unique, untouchable area renowned for its low-lying terrain, home to tigers, leopards, swamp deer, and bird-watching.
